Rawley

We get to my place and I hand her the pizza. I open the door and scoop her up into my arms, carrying her over the threshold. “Welcome back.”

“I wasn’t gone that long.” She giggles, a pretty pink appearing on her cheeks.

I set her down on her feet, locking the door behind us. “It felt like a long time.” Too long, because she belongs here.

“I know. It’s funny how long that week seemed. Remember that next time you want to write me a note.” She glances up, gives me a pointed look. “I mean, I know it was just a contract, and I know that we—”

I shake my head. “No making excuses. What we had was special, and don’t you deny it. I was a fucking coward taking off like that.”

Damn my idiotic mistake. “And it won’t happen again. I promise.”

Mr. Whiskers and Baskins pad up, sniffing the scent of pizza that fills the air. Mr. Whiskers meows, demanding pets and treats. She bends over, stroking both of the animals. I gaze down at her, thinking she looks like she belongs here.

I’m getting jealous of the attention the pets are getting. “Now, it’s time for me to give my girlfriend a tour of my bedroom. If you’ll excuse us, Mr. Whiskers, Baskins.” I can’t help myself—I’m so happy she’s here, I scoop her up again, carrying her into the bedroom. I kick the bedroom door shut behind us.

We don’t need a furry audience for what we’re about to do.

What I’m about to do to her.

I’m suddenly starving and it’s not for pizza. I’m hungry for her body, for the connection we have. When I’m with her, I want to be a better man, a better lover, a better…everything.

Gran told me that’s how I’d know I’d met the right girl.

You’ll know she’s the one because she’ll make you want to be a better man.

I want to be the man that she makes me feel like I am when she looks up at me with that shine of admiration. Is she the one?

I hold her against me and kiss her. We move to the bed, stripping one item of clothing after another off as we go. We lie on the bed, naked, our limbs tangled, our lips and tongues interlocked, making up for every second we were apart. I slip inside her and she opens her legs for me, inviting me, her smoldering gaze locked on mine.

“You’re where you belong, babygirl. In my bed, in my arms.” I enter her fully, one thrust, my need to take her so great I can feel it in the center of my being. I kiss her neck, biting and sucking at her tender flesh, marking her as mine. She gives a moan as I lift her hips, diving into her harder, deeper, claiming every inch of her. I take her hard and fast, her whimpers filling my ears, her fingernails digging into my flesh.

I pull her hip up, giving her ass a hard spank.
